again. i decided to just give this whole process over to the Big Guy. i'll go where I fit in. i agree on applying to schools out of your reach. there will always be a few statistical outliers. why can't it be us? good luck with the apps.

Apply to WHEREVER YOU WANT!!! All it takes is for one school to say yes.

He e-mailed me and probably alot of other folx and e-mail that had a link to a scholarship we could apply for. You should be getting it later on this month.

Thanks for your well wishes. I had a similar philosophy as you did-- you apply to schools that you want to go to, at least within some parameter of reason. I would be happy at any of those schools, so I\\\'ll decide when I get all the decisions.

On the LSAC website thats when the request went through, and the letter I opened today was dated 1-26-06. It said my application was "oh hold" to be re-reviewed before April, 30th. Also to send other relevant materials to bolster my application

Brooklyn sent me a TON of mail. It sort of pissed me off a little. They kept sending things AFTER I was rejected. A few of the packages looked like they could've been acceptances. Oh well. Stay strong & keep hoping. Your URM status will probably help you out.

well, i've definitely heard that the whole admissions process is a numbers "game"... and i indeed think it is. chiashu obviously doesn't take into account personal statements or recommendation letters, so i'm sure that helped me out some... and chiashu says that i have a greater chance of getting into kentucky than richmond, when kentucky is a better school... so i really question the accuracy of the whole thing even when it's giving your probability based on gpa/lsat. if anyone reading knows more about how chiashu calculates one's chances of getting into a particular school, let me know. anyway, thanks for the congrats... and good luck to you! i hope you don't mind me saying, but you'll end up wherever the Lord sees fit for you... don't stress, give your worries to Him!

Yes it is definitely good advice. And I thank all my island brethren for the consistent direction. I am taking an Lsat breather and will be attacking again, soon, for the last time. Congrats on your score-you will be on your way soon-the paranoia I share-but that will also be taken care of soon:) . The bigger the undertaking, the trickier it is.(syrus)

You shuld consider changing your profile to include dates (sent, complete, etc.) only after recieving a decision. Congratulations on Brooklyn Law!

I don't know what the deal is with Howard. But, I got the letter some time around the 3rd but it was dated 2/24. As for Emory, I know it was a stretch but still, you never know... sorry you didn't get into Emory but you got some great acceptances. Did you decide where you're going?
