Additional info & updates

12/07/07
~Since I have no idea where i want to go to law school or where I can get into, i took the Shotgun approach! I got a few fee waivers (not many)..... I have no intentions on taking the LSAT again so i'm just gonna pray, sleep, check my emails and mailbox, and see where i get in and call it a day! 2008 here i come.....

~I got all my apps out early, and im getting alot of completes back confirmations (just way too much to list above).....and i got 2 acceptances so far (Cooley and Florida Coastal). Its still early and as you can tell i have many more schools to hear from......

~I got into CLEO early admission for their summer 2008.

Good luck to everyone this cycle......stay positive.

"Know what your worth and everyone else will too"

12/12/07
-Waitlisted at Vermont Law. My first waitlist. Thanks Vermont for your consideration!

12/14/07
-Accepted at Nova Southeastern University via AAMPLE program. I don't know too much about this program yet, gotta do some research. (Florida has shown the kid some love thus far!) Thanks Nova for the opportunity!

12/24/07
-Waitlisted at St. Thomas (Miami), regular sized envelope.

01/09/08
I just got back from vacation in the Caribbean so i have not been able to update my status until now...... so here is goes!

-Accepted at Valparaiso (large white envelope with school seal across the back of it). Nice to just have options, even though I don't know too much about the school yet.

Im still keeping my head up..... I have a few acceptances thus far so at least I can say im going to law school somewhere.... Staying positive. Hope everyone else is going well!

-Waitlisted at Loyola Chicago. Thanks for even giving me a chance! Chicago would be my second favorite place to be.

01/28/08
-Waitlisted at Northeastern
-Accepted at Wayne State University

02/02/08
-Rejected at Rutgers Newark. This one stings a little..... Its was one of my top choices. Guess just trying to stay positive..... wish me luck though

On a random note: Super Bowl XLII is proof that anything is POSSIBLE when you put your heart on the line. GO GIANTS!!! That game was amazing! Its kind of like the law school application process, unpredictable! But in the end it all works out!

02/05/08
-Waitlisted at Loyola New Orleans...... I have more waitlists now than I do acceptances. I hope I can actually get in off any of these waitlists....... anyone have any interesting stats ?

02/11/08
-Accepted into NYLS! :) But via the "Online AAMPLE" program :( Get C+ (2.5 gpa) or better and im in (which I know I can do). The funny thing is I think I really wanna go to law school in NYC..... so im a have some tough decisions to make!...... Another issue is that it totally conflicts with me attending my CLEO Summer Fellowship!

02/28/08
-Accepted to Cleveland State University! :) YAY a T3

03/27/08
IN AT INDY LAW!!!!!!!!
YEEEEEEEES! SOOO EXCITED!

This is proof that anything is possible with a perseverance, and positive thinking. I truly believe that good things happen to good people! I wish that all other people who fall under this category experience the same kinds of success during this process!

03/30/08
-Just got back from Visiting Cleveland Marshall for the open house this weekend. ..... Feel free to ask if anyone has any questions about the school or the location

-Wait listed at Syracuse Law (as an LEO applicant)

04/10/08
-Waitlisted at Roger Williams

04/11/0e8
-Waitlistd at Detroit Mercy

05/12/08
-Visited Indy Law and absolutely loved it!!!...... I mean I really really loved it!

06/02/08 (MY FINAL UPDATE)
So here is goes......... after 8 months and massive amount of mail/emails, I have decided to attend INDY LAW! I am extrememly happy with my decision and I wish everyone else here the best of luck! Congrats to you all..... I am living proof that anything is possible! Thank you to everyone who gave me support and helped me keep my head strong during this long process. I learned alot about myself during this process and if I can help anyone else down the road I would be more than happy. So my sincere thank you to you all once again. NOVA Southeastern
Thursday, December 06 2007 at 07:00 PM

Does anyone know much about Nova Southeastern AMMPLE program? Any thought?? Thanks Everyone.....

Nova Southeastern
Sunday, August 21 2005 at 08:00 PM

Hey wow!! Congrats on all the acceptances!!! Your kicking some butt... First off Congrats on the AMMPLE acceptance but my personal input on Nova is DONT GO unless you want to go and work in that area. I was accepted into that program too. Number 1. It is conditional.. That means you may not get into the the school unless you are top in the summer program. numeber 2. It costs money and you don't recieve credit for it. I see that as just another way for them to get more money out of people, especially when they are NOT bound or obligated to let you into their school. Only do a conditional program like that when you don't have any other options or want to go to that school more than any of the other schools. IU-indy has a summer program also, but is NOT conditional and you get law school credits, PLUS it is "usually free" for out of staters, it was for me anyway. You already have acceptances at other schools. Personally I'd go to Florida Costal instead of Novasouth eastern anyway, unless like I said you like that area more.... PS: I know it is 3;30 AM.. i THINK finals gave me a bit of insomnia!! I can't sleep and am too tired to study. anyway hopefully more will come!!

Q
Monday, July 23 2007 at 08:00 PM

i see that you applied to F.Pierce Law center. Are you interested in their IP program? or? also, do you know whether you have to be science background to study IP law?

Re: Rutgers
Tuesday, August 21 2007 at 08:00 PM

honestly, i thought my chances were slim on being accepted. Rutgers is one of my reaches, so i'm thinking maybe they looked more at my experiences than my scores as i requested on the application. it'll definetly be a little bit harder for you since you scored in the 140's & i say that b/c a friend of mine applied in 2006 w/a 3.7 and i think a 144, great recommendations and she was still rejected. just keep you fingers crossed & don't give up on Rutgers before you here anything. i really hope you get in!

good luck
Wednesday, October 24 2007 at 08:00 PM

Thanks for encouragement. That is a lot of schools but so far, so good. How did you end up applying to so many schools? I know you probably got some fee waivers but enlighten me.

Nova
Friday, August 17 2007 at 08:00 PM

Congrats on Nova. I also got in through the other program.

Thanks! NYLS
Friday, August 17 2007 at 08:00 PM

I got the acceptance letter in the mail in a small envelope. I was worried it was a rejection but it was an ACCEPTANCE!!! I am SO excited! Now I just need to get a TON of financial aid, any recommendations?

Thanks
Sunday, July 01 2007 at 08:00 PM

Thank you for the kind words. It looks like you applied to a heck of a lot more schools then I did, and I thought I applied to a lot! Good luck with everything, and keep me updated on where you get in, and I will do the same!

Keep Hope Alive
Friday, December 07 2007 at 07:00 PM

Good Luck on your applications!!!

More great news on the way for you
Friday, December 21 2007 at 07:00 PM

You have applied to a great deal of schools. You know what? one thing that you can say for certain, you will definitely go to law school. I trully believe that they will be more great news for you.

Florida Coastal
Wednesday, October 24 2007 at 08:00 PM

hey...I just don't know about a school that tells you that you basically got a scholarship before you even applied...but in the end who knows? it is in florida... persoanlly I would pick Nova Southeastern over Florida Coastal because they are relatively of the same level...but Ft. Lauderdale beats out Jacksonville any day of the week.

hey!
Tuesday, December 18 2007 at 07:00 PM

thank you kindly for the encouragement. I still have to send in my CLEO app. congrats on your acceptance!!!

Nova SE
Wednesday, May 16 2007 at 08:00 PM

Congrats on entry to their AAMPLE program. What you have to do is take two courses, average a C+, and then you are in. You can use this as leverage for your other applications by stating you intend on attending AAMPLE. This way, those schools tack on a few more points to your file. You may get into a better school this way.

Thanks
Monday, November 26 2007 at 07:00 PM

Thanks for the well wishes. I've been watching your progress too. Good luck!

question
Monday, July 23 2007 at 08:00 PM

INDYLAW
Sunday, August 21 2005 at 08:00 PM

Indy is sending out acceptances. Hopefully yours will be comming soon!!

No updates for 2008?
Wednesday, October 24 2007 at 08:00 PM

Wanted to know if you heard anything in 2008 yet. I got a rejection letter from Maryland. Standard envelope and paper. Other than that, its been quiet on my front... a little too quiet if you ask me. lol.

Good on you
Sunday, October 21 2007 at 08:00 PM

WOW!! You definately have my vote for most law schools applied to... Puerto Rican and Polish here.... Bilingual too.. born and raised in Bayamon till age 10.. Not sure if you're about as weary of the application process as I am.. Your extras curriculars most likely drawf 90% of this server, but most law school have been reduced to little more than simple arithematic calculators. It's nearly comical b/c most law schools (not in the top 10) decry and demeanonize US News and World Reports for their frivilous reliance on absurd and unreliable numbers as the basis for ranking schools, but it's exactly the same thing we experience on the other side of the paradim as applicants. I often think about this right before I fall into a deep coma wherein I spend 12 hours looking at my blank walls, cursing in Aramaic, and drooling green sludge... Well Anywhoo good luck.. I'll be pulling for you..

Congrats!
Sunday, October 21 2007 at 08:00 PM

Congrats on Valpo. Hope you had a nice vacation. Good luck!

Hey!!
Monday, December 24 2007 at 07:00 PM

Thank you! And congratulations on your 4 acceptances so far. It's so true that this process is unpredictable. I got rejected by Florida Coastal and we have similar numbers. Haha, well I suppose it means that that particular school wasn't for us right? Wow you only got a few fee waivers. I can imagine how much your application fees were. Well this won't be the last time we talk, keep faith=)

Rejection Pattern
Tuesday, August 21 2007 at 08:00 PM

Don't let the rejections deter you. You still haven't heard from many of the schools you applied to & i'm sure there will be acceptances from some of those schools. I hope one of them is from Rutgers!

Good for you
Tuesday, December 26 2006 at 07:00 PM

Hey dominrrican, My hat is off to you because of your positive outlook. My first two responses came the same day and one was a rejection and the other a waitlist at what I thought was somewhat of a safety school. I wish the best for you this cycle and am rooting for you!

Thanks
Thursday, January 03 2008 at 07:00 PM

Thanks for your comments. I applied to CLEO this year too. Still waiting on their decision. If I don't get in this cycle, I will try next year again. I know I have zero chances this year with the schools I picked. Just like you said, taking shotgun approach this cycle. I think I will try to retake the LSAT.

Hey there
Friday, December 21 2007 at 07:00 PM

I am delighted you stopped by...I just came from work ( it is a little bit over midnight right now), even though I am tired, I have to check the site. It seems that you and I have been received A LOT OF REJECTIONS...lol you know what? we still going to law school no matter what. Additionally, more great news will come...let be patient for now... Don't get stressful about the cycle anymore since you have some acceptances...

Maintain.

Congrats on your acceptances. You have applied to a lot of schools, and I admire your diligence. What is the final number of applications? It is best to keep your options open. I wish you best of luck in the application process. As of now, what is your top choice?

Loyola Chicago
Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

I noticed that Loyola Chicago waitlisted you. That would be an awesome place. Did you apply to a Special program at Loyola?

Thanx~!!

Quick Qustion on CLEO
Tuesday, September 06 2005 at 08:00 PM

I know you got into the early CLEO admission and you might know that I am interested in applying CLEO for next yr cycle.. However, I don't know much about it though.. So my question is: "what will have advantages by attending CLEO summer program if I admitted??." By attending that program, "Will I, by attending CLEO Summer Program be guaranteed to get an admission from its member schools? I thoroughly reviewed CLEO website but couldn't find any info regarding that issue.. So I just ask you.. I am sorry to bothering you...

Thanks for the advice.
Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

I applied to 53 schools, and I made sure that I took every opportunity to stand out from the rest. I wanted them to look beyond the LSAT. We will see how I fare. I am very active in the Hispanic/Latino community, and I teach multiple sections of American Law and I teach one course on International Relations. Anyway, I was also rejected from Albany. They claim that they look beyond the numbers. I think that they are full of crap. What do you think? I am surprised that you were rejected from Houston and New England. Thanks for the message dominrrican.

Thanks again.....
Tuesday, September 06 2005 at 08:00 PM

Thanks again bro... I did make up my mind that I will apply CLEO for next yr cycle and hopely I can get in.. Best,

Hey~
Tuesday, September 06 2005 at 08:00 PM

I pray for you to get off from the waitlist at Loyola Chicago and get in there!!!!!! PS) I did post my e-mail adress with this message.. If you have anything u want to talk with me, whther anything personal or law school stuffs, just e-mail me...^^

How do you know you were selected for the Denver Institute?

Re: CLEO
Wednesday, November 28 2007 at 07:00 PM

Yes I did apply and was accepted into CLEO. My balance is actually due next week. I'm excited about the program but I would def. prefer to be in San Diego as opposed to Denver.

Hey! congrats on your acceptance! I think I'm going to the San Diego one, hopefully. Kudos on your tenacity; I applied to 8 schools and it took me soo much time and patience!

Sorry about Stetson
Sunday, August 21 2005 at 08:00 PM

They are a bunch of jerks, i got 2 rejection letters from them. One for day and one for evening....grrr haha. Don't worry things will get better as time goes on, there is a lot of time let and you still got a hell of a lot of schools.

I am rooting for you man...
Tuesday, April 25 2006 at 08:00 PM

I am watching your profile and rooting for you. Congrats on the early accepts and thx for keeping your record for all of us to see. I am praying for you and wish you more success this cycle!!

Illinois: Champaign Urbana

did you do the optional interview for pace?

Good luck!
Thursday, January 03 2008 at 07:00 PM

Best of luck with the schools! What would be your number one choice? I hope I get into Loyola or Northeastern, would love it!

Waitlisted or Deferred?
Wednesday, October 24 2007 at 08:00 PM

Is being deferred better than being waitlisted? What is the difference? Anyways, congrats on Wayne State!!! I'll keep checking in to see what comes of the U of Illinois application for you. *Fingers crosses*

Thanks
Tuesday, May 29 2007 at 08:00 PM

Thanks so much for the support and I see that we're in the same boat with Urbana. Good luck!

wow
Monday, July 23 2007 at 08:00 PM

i can not truly understand how this admission process works...ILLinois defered you, but then you got rejected by lower ranking schools...good luck

hold
Saturday, January 26 2008 at 07:00 PM

if I may offer my .02, "hold", to my understanding, means that they will hold your application until a later point (usually the end) and re-read it to see if you "fit in". I hope everything goes well for you :)

Thanks so much!
Saturday, January 26 2008 at 07:00 PM

I really am hoping for the best and I will keep you in my prayers! I know, this process IS crazy...its about as reliable as gambling lol :)

:)
Saturday, January 26 2008 at 07:00 PM

Thank you so much! I really enjoy everything that I have had the opportunity to do, definitely been experiences worth having! I'll be keeping an eye on your progress!

Represent!
Tuesday, November 27 2007 at 07:00 PM

Hey, Thanks for your message bro. I'm even surprised by the number of acceptances I've got but I'm soaking them up. We gotta represent!!! Congrats on your acceptances so far. With your wide range of schools, I'm sure you'll get some really cool offers coming. Keep me posted - Siga pa' lante!!!

Thanks!
Tuesday, August 21 2007 at 08:00 PM

Your message made my day! I really am so thankful that i've been able to get into law school after all these years of working and raising my kid. I am pulling for you, hoping that you will receive more acceptances (i'm sure you will) because you've been so cool and positive to everyone who's going thru this process. Who knows, we may end up going to school together..& that would be great! I'm watching...

Log on....
Thursday, December 06 2007 at 07:00 PM

If I knew who you were then I would respond on your page. LOL. Please Log on. But as of now I really don't have a top choice. It depends on financial Aid packages, bar passage rates, moot court reputation especially, and job prospects

I know how it feels

It's not easy to get rejected from a school you were very hopeful for, I just got my rejection from Howard. But remember what matters is that we got in somewhere! Never to late for anything, if your heart is set on a school, try to reapply through transferring. Also I see you're in CLEO, this is a great accomplishment! So you keep that head up=)

Hawaii and Newark
Monday, July 23 2007 at 08:00 PM

1) Did u receive any email from the Hawaii law school recently? 2) how were u notified by Rutgers Newark? Thanks

Keep hope alive
Friday, September 28 2007 at 08:00 PM

Hey man, keep your head up! Don't let these rejects get to you. You still got a long way to go, I love your dedication. Ur going to be alright in the end. Can I say it again? NO!!! THE PATRIOTS ARENT PERFECT! HAHAHA..

Thank you!
Thursday, July 05 2007 at 08:00 PM

Thank you, and congrats to you also on all of your acceptances! :)

thanks
Friday, October 19 2007 at 08:00 PM

for the congratulation. No doubt that you'll get more acceptances. I am pretty sure you'll get off some of the waitlist also! good luck bro, keep in touch.

hi my friend
Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

I saw that you were waitlisted by Loyola NO. Did you tell them that you were interested in their summer conditional program? I would send them an e-mail, and I would express interest in their part time and their full time program. It cannot hurt to let them know that you are interested in attending NO. Hope that helps my friend.

Hmmm...
Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

NO also makes it very difficult to succeed in the program. That is what I heard anyway.

Congrats on NYLS
Sunday, August 21 2005 at 08:00 PM

I know it is the AMMPLE program, but you still have a chance. So you take a class online?? That is better than having to go there. Here is what you do... Sign a seat deposit for the second school incase you don't get into to NYLS, but if yo udo get into, then you will be able to go there. If not, then you will still have the other school to go to. Conditional programs are never in the bag programs, some of them just suck, it is always good to have another option open for you on the side. Good luck!! and Congrats. You will still have to make other decisions along the way i'm sure. But at least it is good to have acceptance decisions in the bag.

NYLS
Tuesday, August 21 2007 at 08:00 PM

Congrats! It's a really good school in a PERFECT location! There are so many firms and govt offices over there along w/the courts. I have 2 friends that graduated from the school recently and both were able to find jobs. One of them is already making 6 figures and she just got out a couple of years ago! You should definitely consider this school, although it's $$$. But you never know, you could come out making $$$.

Cardozo
Sunday, January 06 2008 at 07:00 PM

Hi, congrats on your acceptances thus far! I was just wondering how Cardozo notified you? Thanks

Conditional programs
Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

So, are you thinking of studying in NY? I am uncertain about conditional programs. They make me a little nervous.

USF....
Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

I saw your profile, and I noticed that you were waitlisted at USF. This gives me some hope. Was it a small envelope? Do they accept a high percentage from the waitlist? Look forward to hear from you.

hi
Thursday, November 22 2007 at 07:00 PM

hey, it seems like your applications are going good. I'm bumbed

Wayne State
Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

What is your opinion about Wayne State? Do you know anything about its reputation my friend?

Hey
Thursday, February 07 2008 at 07:00 PM

Hey, I noticed that you have applied to TONS of places. I wish you the best of luck with the remaining ones and notice that you post very positive messages for people so I believe you have a good attitude about the whole process. Do you have any sort of school you are shooting for though? I applied to 6 places and it was the biggest headache in the world. I guess though, if you don't get your name in the hat that you can't get picked. How many places is this in total and how long did it take? I'm just curious.

Thanks
Thursday, February 07 2008 at 07:00 PM

Thanks for the reply and the insight. I was thinking about applying to more schools but opted not to as my main target is Stetson and I have a really good chance with their PT program and decent potential for the FT program. It is my first choice, with FIU and Mercer as back-ups mainly. (I do not really feel like leaving the state of Florida.) So I kept my applications down. With 80 plus applications you are pretty much bound to get good news at some places. Keep on truckin' man and best of luck with whatever school you come to choose.

Congrats
Wednesday, February 20 2008 at 07:00 PM

...on your acceptances. I hope the best for you.

Re: Wayne
Sunday, July 08 2007 at 08:00 PM

Sorry it took me a while to get back to you. I chose them as my first choice for two reasons. One, they are the cheapest school in the state of Michigan to go to. And Two, they have historically been known as the 2nd best law school in MI. With MSU on the rise, however, it could change very soon. Just a lot of money to go there!

Thank You
Saturday, June 30 2007 at 08:00 PM

Hey D: Thanks! I really appreciate your congrats! I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders! Still undecided where I want to go...

CLEO
Monday, January 22 2007 at 07:00 PM

I got into CLEO too..which one are you going to?

thanks!
Wednesday, February 20 2008 at 07:00 PM

More than likely I'll end up at BC Law School, unless God decides to bring me even more miracles, haha. I'll keep you posted...Let me know where you decide on, too.

Medical Anthro
Saturday, June 30 2007 at 08:00 PM

Here's a blurb I wrote once to describe it: Medical Anthropology is a burgeoning field within the discipline of Cultural Anthropology that cross-culturally examines disease, health, illness and healing from a subjective cultural perspective. In sum, Med Anthro focuses on the interaction of culture, people and disease/illness...it's very interesting ;)

NYLS
Tuesday, November 27 2007 at 07:00 PM

Hey bro, Congrats on New York Law School! We could end up at the same school. Good luck throughout the cycle!

Cleveland
Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

Congrats on Cleveland my friend. As of now, is this your first choice?

a link about tiers.

<a href="http://www.prelawhandbook.com/law_school_ranking__tier_to_tier" title="http://www.prelawhandbook.com/law_school_ranking__tier_to_tier" class="data">http://www.prelawhandbook.com/law_school_ranking__tier_to_tier</a> I thought that this link was interesting. Check out Cleveland and check out Wayne State on here.

Congrats on Clevelenad State
Sunday, August 21 2005 at 08:00 PM

Hey Congrats on Cleveland state!! That is a great school within the region!! Keep the acceptances coming!

CSU
Sunday, July 08 2007 at 08:00 PM

CSU is a comparitively great school. THey just recently had a 90% bar success rate which is right up there with OSU (Tier 1). Will you be attending the admitted student day March 15th?

curious
Thursday, February 14 2008 at 07:00 PM

how much did u waste on applications this year.

sorry
Saturday, January 05 2008 at 07:00 PM

I really didnt mean to use the word "waste" im just really cheap and spending money hurts. anywhich yeah i spent about the same amount but u applied to way more so u got more bang for ur buck, anywhich thanks for the good luck.

Good luck!
Thursday, August 16 2007 at 08:00 PM

Thanks for your comment....the one you left about a month ago, but I just noticed now! Thanks for your advice too, after my first 2 rejections, I put out two more applications...in very, VERY small towns (Ohio!). I'm getting nervous, but I guess all I can do now is wait it out. Congratulations on all your acceptances, and good luck!

hi my friend
Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

Good to hear from you my friend. I am not a kid. I currently teach International Relations, but I think that law school is the next logical step. Maybe you mean kid in an endearing way, but it is difficult to tell via online. What would you recommend doing? Hamline or Wayne State? I was accepted full time at Hamline and part time at Wayne State. I heard that WSU has a better reputation and a better bar passage rate. However, Hamline may have more options for jobs due to location. What are your thoughts my friend? I hope that you are well. Are you leaning toward Cleveland or WSU? Even though WSU is a tier 4, it has a great reputation.

TITLE REQUIRED
Friday, March 07 2008 at 07:00 PM

holy sh*t all of my friends thought I was crazy with 22 schools but this really is crazy! You must have taken out a loan just for the app fees. Good luck....this profile inspires me to add more.

hey buddy
Wednesday, February 20 2008 at 07:00 PM

ha we're rejection soul brothers, lol. I got rejected from UVA on 3/18/08 as well. Dont worry because when you take the road less travled on it makes all the difference (aka forget them you'll find a better path and become a better lawyer than most in fordham.)

thank you so much
Saturday, February 24 2007 at 07:00 PM

Hey thank you so much I was pretty shocked. Sometimes it works out. The next step is the scariest though, I have to do some serious strategic planning. I really, really appreciate that message. That was really cool of you.

Hey man
Sunday, August 21 2005 at 08:00 PM

Hey man I see that it is almost April and you still have tons of schools yet to hear from. WOW.... we'll they say "no news is good news" so i'm hoping you get into all the schools left. For me i'm getting pretty busy. My trial practice class is comming to a close and we are starting to prepare for it. I'm working on a rough draft of my closing argument now. Take it easy, i'll talk to you soon.

MSU
Wednesday, October 24 2007 at 08:00 PM

I had the same thing happen for me with MSU...what does that officially mean? That's a rejection with an offer to hopefully get into their part time program? Is that considered a long time deferment? I'm not even sure. But i guess I'll consider that as an option...you?

same situation.
Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

I was offered to the summer LEO program. Are you going to participate? I was also rejected from U of San Diego. Are you leaning toward Cleveland? Anything could happen at this point. Did you apply LEOP at Hastings? They are still an option.

Good luck!
Thursday, February 07 2008 at 07:00 PM

I have been following your progress this cycle. It appears that you have quite a few good choices to choose from. Keep up the positive outlook and you will continue to do well. I do have two questions for you: Did you apply for the LEO summer program at Seton Hall? Are you still planning to attend CLEO?

Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

Good to hear from you my friend. Let me know your thoughts on Cleveland. At this point, I am leaning toward SLU. I was admitted in a conditional program. There are some conditional programs that I would never do, like Widener TAP or even MSU LEO. However, SLU does not seem too bad. I am still waiting on USF and on Pacific. I applied part time to both. I wish you the best of luck in this process. No matter which school you decide, I want to make sure that we stay in touch.

Good Luck!!
Thursday, March 06 2008 at 07:00 PM

Good luck with everything! How were you notified about your acceptance to CLEO?

Congrats!!!
Wednesday, December 12 2007 at 07:00 PM

Hey Dominrrican, Congrats on Indy Law!!! I'm so excited for you! This just proves to everyone once again that an LSAT in the 140s shouldn't discourage any hard working students that want to go to a great law school... Cheers.

CONGRATS!!
Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

Congratulations on INDY!!! YAY Good for you! Very happy for you and wish you great success!!!

Way to go!!! I knew you'd do well this cycle. Keeping a positive attitude in the face of doubters will always be noticed by others. It helps earn your respect. I am confident that your smarts and positivity will do you well and take you very far in your classrooms, courtrooms or boardrooms. Take care and CONGRATULATIONS!!

Good point about conditional programs. Yea, it really doesn't make sense since that and $5 can buy you a beer when its all said and done

Sorry for not replying sooner, because I have not come to the site due to my work schedule. As you well know, I will definitely go to Indy. Yes, I will be at the open house, I will email you my cell #, so that we can discuss further. Once again, congratulations!

Monday, December 24 2007 at 07:00 PM

That sounds like a good program.I mean why wouldn't they accept you into that if they accepted you already! Well I've decided on NCCU, even though there 11 other schools to hear from. The clock was ticking and I didn't want to miss out on on-campus housing. NCCU seems the best fit for me.

wow
Monday, July 23 2007 at 08:00 PM

where are u going in the fall??

Hey man
Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

You have a lot pending here my friend. I am surprised that we have not both heard from Hastings yet. Have you called them?

CONGRATULATIONS
Tuesday, April 08 2008 at 08:00 PM

I had to delete my account for privacy issues/concerns but I had to create this new one just to say CONGRATULATIONS AND FELICITACIONES. I am so proud of you and I knew Diosito had something good for you. I am going to end up in Denver for the CLEO program and I really hope to see you there. I am still trying to decide where to go. I have to make a really hard decision --April 11th is the deadline. Best of all, latino08

USF
Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

I was waitlisted by USF today... I heard that their waitlist is a ridiculous process. Did you hear the same? Do you really want to go to Rhode Island? I would pass on Roger Williams. Look forward to hearing from you. I would like to know your analysis on the waitlist process at USF. Do we have a chance?

your thought?
Monday, July 23 2007 at 08:00 PM

i see that indy offered Students Open House on April 12, 2008 for applicants who have been accepted into fall semester. i am still waiting on a decision. does this mean that i am outright reject or maybe waitlist? any ideas?

Tuesday, January 15 2008 at 07:00 PM

My friend! Hastings is sending a batch of LEOP decisions this week. I wish you the best of luck. I will also hear from Indy this week. They would not tell me over the phone. I thought that was weird. Didn't they tell you over the phone?

good job
Tuesday, April 22 2008 at 08:00 PM

Just don't go to Cooley, or Wayne. I've posted about Wayne's troubles here: <a href="http://www.lawschooldiscussion.org/prelaw/index.php/topic,104032.10.html" title="http://www.lawschooldiscussion.org/prelaw/index.php/topic,104032.10.html" class="data">http://www.lawschooldiscussion.org/prelaw/index.php/topic,104032.10.html</a> IU is a great pick up. You should be v happy with that school.

Hey! Thank you very much on the congrats. I think we are both living proof that anything is possible. And yes, we are both future Indy residents! Are you excited? When are you moving?

On ICLEO
Friday, December 21 2007 at 07:00 PM

I am kicking myself that I did not apply to the program. Though I was hoping for ND, I just didn\'t feel like I\'d end up in Indy. What about you, are you going to attend the ICLEO program?

Thanks again, and good luck w/ ICLEO! I left my email so we can keep in touch. I heard Indy summers are beautiful, so I\'m sure you\'ll enjoy your experience.
